You: That’s right. I use it, but it doesn’t have effect.
Colleague: We are looking at the computer screen for a long time. So, I think that’s the reason for it.
You: Staring at the computer screen really makes my eyes hurt.
Colleague: You can enter data really quickly.
You: But I have trouble with my computer now. Can you fix this?
Colleague: All right. I’ll try it.
You: Thank you. I’d be lost without you.
Colleague: Thanks is mutual.

ache：「痛み」
It’s better to～：「～した方が良い」

stare～：「～をじっと見る」

enter data：「データの入力をする」

You: That’s right. I use it, but it doesn’t have effect. (そうだね。目薬は使っているんだけど、効果が得られない。)
Colleague: We are looking at the computer screen for a long time. So, I think that’s the reason for it. (私たちはコンピュータの画面を長い間見ている。だから、それが原因だと思うよ。)

Colleague: Thanks is mutual. (お互い様だよ。)
