Interviewer: Good morning.  I’m Mr. White.

Thank you for coming to D. B. Inc.

Was our office hard to find?

Applicant: Not at all. I’m Rie Sato.

I saw your ad for a secretary who can speak English.

Is it still available?

Interviewer: Yes it is. The position requires fluency in English.

And that is essential.

Do you have any experience with staying abroad?

Applicant: Yes, my university had an exchange student program.

I participated in it.

I studied in C. University for a year through that program.

Interviewer: I suppose you had a fruitful year.

So your English-speaking ability is fine.

Applicant: Thank you.
