I have 18 years of ESL & EFL teaching experience. I have taught adults & university students of all levels as well as other students of various age groups & staff of Major Companies in Japan for the last 10 years. I have worked as a Bank Mgr. of Customer service in the US. So, I teach any business topic.
I have a BA in Communications from Univ.of TX.as well as a Master's degree in Linguistics- by Correspondence from Regent University in VA,USA.

I have been teaching English in Japan since 1997. I have taught everything from private to public schools, eikaiwas to universities. Some of my clients include Accenture, Google, and Rakuten. I also teach Japanese English teachers how to teach English. Additionally I have written two books on how to each English that are available on Amazon.

I came over to Japan in the Navy and fell in love with this country. I became an English teacher in order to learn more about Japan. I love teaching, meeting new students, and learning about their lives.

I usually curate my own lesson plan based on my students' requests. I always focus on the COMMUNICATIVE METHOD of teaching which I give more speaking opportunities to my students. Some of the books I use are Cambridge Books, Pearson Books, Oxford Books, TED TALK books, and more

My husband's job brought us here to Japan four years ago. I was a nurse and an Online English teacher in the Philippines. I continued my passion for teaching until the strike of the pandemic. I took a Master of Arts in Education course to upskill my self and learn more about he pedagogy of teaching.

When I was teaching English to Japanese students, I noticed that they are too shy and afraid to make mistakes, despite grasping grammar. Many Japanese people think of English as difficult, boring and useless so I want to change this negative perspective. It's actually fun, interesting and very important. Proficiency in English is key to unlocking doors of opportunities abroad, may it be in the aspect of career or travel. I want to boost their confidence by empowering and encouraging them that it's okay to make mistakes. I want to be their study and language exchange buddy where they can share their feelings, thoughts and experiences in English. Seeing my students progress and enjoy taking my lessons gave me a sense of fulfilment. When my students booked my classes regularly and left positive feedback, it made my life more meaningful and it seemed like I realized my purpose- which is to teach English.

I have been awarded a scholarship from the Japanese Government to study in Japan. In my free time, I have started working as an part time English teacher for kids at Dr. Tech and Iwade Academy.

I originally came to Japan on working holiday and began teaching English to all levels and ages.

In San Diego I worked for Sony PlayStation for 13 years but decided to move to Japan with my wife who I met while visiting Japan. She is a nurse. I enjoy teaching English to her nieces living in Hong Kong.

My background is QA and Network Engineering. I went through technical training with Cisco Network Academy. I learned about computer networks, design, configuration, troubleshooting, etc.

I experienced over the years a variety of teaching opportunities in different fields and found that teaching a new language is the most exciting one. I had the chance to teach both young learners and adults, adjusting my abilities according to the demands of each level.

I have experienced teaching both elementary school students and young adults [between the ages of 18-24]. Being patient, attentive and friendly contribute a lot to the lesson as the student feel relaxed and confident. Also, I found that preparing a lesson plan that combines the student's interests with the grammar points, enhances the student's will to talk and experience with the language.

I taught Samoan and was responsible for translating Japanese to English for Senior JICA Volunteers that came to Samoa and wored for the Mnistry of Education. Also conducted weekend Samoan classes to teach Samoan to these JICA volunteers.

Worked for the Ministry of Education for 3 years and was responsible for teaching computing to staff as well as Senior System Engineer looking after all Information databases for the Ministry.

I came to Japan in 2005 to 2008 and studied at Japan Electronics College then went back and worked for the Ministry of Education then came back in 2011 and am currently a student at the Waseda Graduate School of Asia Pacific Studies in Takadanobaba Campus!!

I have been teaching as an ALT n Junior High Schools in Japan since 2008 as well as private English lessons.

I graduated from Temple University and majored in Economics.I have a Professional Teacher certificate.
