Though I feel I've been teaching informally for most of my adult life, I've been teaching English for 4 months at a small private school in Shinshiro City. I have aided with the lessons for beginner-level English (elementary and junior high school level) and conduct my own conversation courses. I also teach English on a voluntary basis at a local elementary school as well as an organization called Asobi Net, that allows pre-school children to be exposed to social situations and English.

As a college student, I hosted 2 Japanese exchange students in my home for a combined total of 10 months. During this time, I informally taught Koichi and Megumi as much English as possible. It was in these situations that sparked my interest in and discovered my knack for teaching English.
