Hi my name is Randy and I'm 21 years old, recently moved to Tokyo to further my studies. Growing up in NYC, I've met people from many different backgrounds and I can honestly say that you can always make friends and have things in common even if you're not fluent in the same languages. As long as you're willing to improve and work at it, you can do it.

I personally know about the difficulties of learning a new language with Japanese being my third, so I know first hand how you feel. I have a pretty good idea of what Japanese speakers might find hard about English, (pronunciation and grammar) and can help overcome such obstacles.
