Hi, my name is Erika Oe. I am native in both English and Japanese as my mother is British and my father is Japanese. Currently I am a student in Japan studying Sociology and Spanish. I spent one year in London last year working at an NGO where they worked for the rights of the refugees and migrants.
While I was in London I completed an Intensive TEFL course and received the certificate.
My mother has been an English teacher for over 24 years and has had 9 children's picture books published. I helped by composing songs and doing book readings at book stores.
A little about myself - I have many interests such as singing, reading, leaning languages and traveling. I have traveled a lot and I think that traveling is one of the best ways to educate ourselves.
I am very active and energetic and I hope I can deliver fun and interesting lessons with my students!

Currently studying Sociology and Spanish at Dokkyo University.
OTHER EXPERIENCE:
*8-15 years old ? Every year went to a summer camp in UK.
*18 years old - Went to Spain, Barcelona to join a voluntary work camp helping to build a museum about the Spanish civil war.
*19 years old - Went to Peru, Cusco for one month to study Spanish and to do voluntary work teaching English in a orphanage.
*July 2010 - March2011 - Internship in London at an NGO which works with the rights for refugees and migrants.
