Hello. Learning a new language from an English teacher should be fun, enjoyable and most importantly your lessons should provide you with the skills to communicate effectively in that new language. What are your goals? Would you like to travel to English speaking country for new work, study or holiday? Or does your current employment require you to have better English speaking skills? Whatever your goals and needs are a good teacher should assess your current ability and your goals then explore a learning program that suits this criteria. I'd like to assist you with your language studies so that you can work towards your achieving your English speaking goals. I have worked in professional education for 6 years. Once completing my tertiary education in 2005 I engage worked with Shearwater Steiner School in NSW, Australia and worked with Steiner Education until December 2011. During this time I worked with students from as young as 3 years old through to 18 year Senior students. I was second in charge of a CAPA (music and arts) department and was guardian (pastoral care) to 40 teenage students. For 12 months between 2006 and 2007 I took sabbatical from my position at Shearwater to work as a JET in Tokushima-ken, Shikoku, Japan. I worked with students with ages ranging from 2 years through to 15 years. I also worked part-time in Nara in Nichi-bei English school as an after school English conversation instructor. My love for Japanese culture has brought me back to Japan in 2012, this time to study Japanese language with the intention of introducing language instruction into my teaching skill set. I hope to work with English instruction again in Sapporo and continue to develop my teaching skills whilst living in Japan for 2012 and 2013.
