Hello my name is Sho Imaizumi. I am technically Japanese but culturally American, Living in America for the past 15 years, I learned a lot about other cultures through the language of English. I believe that English, no matter where you go, is the language of choice between individuals who have no common language; a global Lingua Franca. The assumption that learning English alone will bring you closer to just American and English cultures is a misconception. The reality is that once you can utilize the language of English you will have broaden your horizon by being able to communicate to a wide variety of nationalities. I feel that Business English is a broad term that means different things to different people. The main point for my understanding is to effectively communicate and come to a consensus between both parties.
