Hello, I'm Jack. I'm a Filipino engineer.

In me, you will find a highly motivated career changer seeking to leverage years of science and engineering experiences into teaching. I am convinced that my broad experience has equipped me with a strong set of valuable competencies. While most of my experiences are technical, I can assure you that teaching is not new to me. In fact, during college, I have had teaching and tutoring as part-time job to be able to support my studies. I have had the opportunity to teach a diverse group of graduating high school students who are to take college entrance examinations. As a versatile tutor, I have taken the chance to teach a wide variety of students from various backgrounds and all facets of society. The settings have been diverse, including classroom settings as well as casual classes in cafes and in home settings. As I am aware that the needs of the student must come before the comfort of the instructor, I am more than happy to work a diverse schedule, working both peak and non-peak hours, as well as embarking on any travel necessary to accommodate busy students. If you are looking for an instructor who is flexible, enthusiastic, punctual and able to make learning enjoyable, I believe that I am the right person for the position.

?Underwent eight weeks of internship that covered compositional and elemental analysis of the alloys used in the cast products using a vacuum emission spectrometer, introduction to the processing line of investment casting and conducting a case study on the reclamation and reuse of spent foundry sand.
?Submitted a case study entitled “A Sustainable Approach to the Reclamation and Reuse of Spent Foundry Sand” wherein the details of primary and secondary sand reclamation techniques as well as sand recycling were elucidated.
