I have been to Japan many times because my older sister lives in Tokyo. My mother is also of Japanese descent; therefore, I am well accustomed to the Japanese way of life. I am able to speak Japanese and understand it at an intermediate level; I also plan on improving my Japanese speaking ability as time progresses. I have traveled all over the world and have seen many things and experienced various cultures. I feel that I am a very well rounded person who can talk casually and intellectually about a variety of subjects. Furthermore, I am very outgoing and friendly. I have always loved the people and country of Japan because I am half Japanese. I look forward to teaching English to many people as I can while I am in Tokyo...
I have taught English in Korea for about 3 years teaching adults and junior high school students. I have a BA in communications from Arizona State University, and I have also lived and worked in Japan for about 2 years after graduating high school. While living in Arizona, I also worked for Discover financial services and a retirement community.
