Hello everyone! Thank you for taking a look at my profile. My name is Juan and I am from Chicago Illinois. I have been in Japan since December 22, 2006. If you are wondering why I have been here for so long, it’s because I joined the US Navy, went to basic training, after basic training I went for my job specialty training for navigation. After I was done with my job training I was given a paper (my orders) which said I will be stationed in Yokosuka, Japan on the USS Shiloh. Before coming to Japan I have never been outside of the United States and actually had no interest in Japan or any other Asian countries. After getting warmed up to the country I fell in love with it. I was able to travel all around Japan and to other countries because of my job in the Navy. Before I was honorably discharged from the US Navy I was accepted to attend Temple University Japan Campus in Tokyo. I have been teaching English for many years now and have a lot of experience. I am currently working with children from 0-18 introducing them to English. I really hope you enjoy my fun lessons.
