I have two degrees, a Bachelor of Science and an Associate of Arts. The B.S. is in International Studies / Japanese completed in 1999 from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California USA. The A.A. is in Interior Design completed in 2007 from The Art Institute of Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada USA. I also attended Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan for one year as an exchange student my third year of university.
I have over 7 years of teaching experience, both in Japan and the United States. I have about 4 years of teaching experience in Tokyo, Japan and consisted mainly of conversational English lessons to adults both privately and in small groups. I also taught Business English to adults at various companies.
In the United States I taught ESL at a College Preparatory Academy for just over 3 years. I taught international students who were preparing to enter the US university system, so classes were very academic and structured, working closely with a curriculum. Class sizes ranged from 6 to 15 students. I also taught elective classes relating to the American experience.
