Hello! My name is Chris and I'm from sunny Los Angeles, California :) I've been teaching English as a foreign language for almost 5 years now, and I am currently studying for my Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL). So, I'm a teacher who is serious about helping students improve and become more natural speakers of English. Most of all, I enjoy helping students with pronunciation problems and grammar when speaking. I also like having conversations about anything and presenting students with new vocabulary, idioms, expressions and phrases which could be useful for them in many situations.
In the past, I taught English in South Korea, and I conducted several public speaking courses during summer and winter vacation programs there. I've taught all grade levels from kindergarten to senior citizens and held 2 university teaching positions in South Korea and Japan. I've also assisted many private students in Korea and Japan with presentations, academic journal articles, and other projects which they requested assistance with. Above all, I truly value the experience of seeing people improve and become confident English users. I hope that I will be able to assist you as much as I can, and that we will have a memorable experience studying together.
