Hi!
This is Teacher Angelica.
I love music, arts, literature, travel and sports. I studied Bachelor of Arts Major in English in the university. My mother tongue is Tagalog. I can teach both English and Tagalog.

I have been teaching English language to various levels of students both online and offline for six years already. I have taught Business English and English Communication Skills including Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, and Conversation Skills. I have also helped coaching students for Interviews, Speech Contests, and TOEIC and EIKEN Preparation.

I arranged flight schedules through Sabre, accomplished bookings, organized data through Zoho, handled inbound calls and answered customer queries. I worked in rolling shifts particularly during the day from 7:00 AM MT to 4:00 PM MT (6:00 AM MT to 3:00 PM MT for DST) or in the afternoon, from 1:00 PM MT to 10:00 PM MT. There were two work shifts: one was from Monday to Friday and the other was from Wednesday to Sunday, and that ran alternately between groups to maximize the calls and sales.

I taught online classes for Koreans through the phone. The company hadn’t been offering any video programs ever since. The learning programs were exclusive to professionals from a certain Korean conglomerate and its subsidiaries. There were also some other smaller companies. We offered non-video Skype classes for learners dispatched overseas for business. The duration of the classes varied depending upon the account’s booked class ? 10 minutes, 20 minutes and 30 minutes whether two, three or five days a week. The registered classes would last for three, six or twelve months depending on the accounts. We offered make up classes according to the available time of both the teacher and the student. I had a maximum of 32 classes for peak days and a minimum of 18 classes for non-peak days. The lessons materials included the books that could be downloaded in the company website. Some students would prefer Free talking, TOEIC Reviewers, or other lesson materials they wish to use. There were daily reports to be accomplished. The student evaluation reports were posted in the system monthly. I worked from Mondays to Fridays in a broken schedule 6:00 to 9:00 KT, 12:00 to 14:00 KT, and 17:00 to 23:00 KT.

The learners could book 25-minute or 50-minute classes depending upon their discretion. They were free to change teachers anytime. Most of the learners I conversed with were adults and professionals. There were a few college and high school students though. More learners preferred Free talking, News and Article discussions in the Internet to textbooks so, I had to research and prepare various topics. I worked during my free time: 20:00 ? 24:00 JT every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and 19:00 ? 24:00 JT every Saturday and Sunday.
