Hello my future students! My name is Michelle but the young learners usually call me Teacher Mich/Michi. I recently graduated from the University of San Carlos. It is one of the top 10 universities in the Philippines. One of my greatest strengths as a teacher is instilling the love for learning in my students and I am a very dedicated and patient educator. I understand that having English as a second language is challenging but with the right motivation from me, I believe that you can learn a lot. It is important to have a precise method in teaching that's why I would have the advantage when it comes to that aspect because I've been teaching English since I was in 1st year college and I had been handling little kids since I was 11years old because I'm always part of the student-teachers group in school. My english skills were developed through my call center experiences and with my everyday conversations with foreigner classmates and friends. With that being said, I've learned not just collection of strategies but different approach of teaching to serve the needs of my students because one method is not effective to all types of students that's why I'm keen in designing instructional activities and assessment to cater your emotional/intellectual needs. It is true that we need to stick with the basic but most of the time I believe that it's better to think outside the box to provide advanced knowledge optimization for my students. I have a true passion for teaching and with the other jobs that I've tried, teaching was the most fulfilling. I hope to see you soon for our future classes.
