英会話を勉強する生徒へアドバイス

Hello everyone! If you are looking for a casual atmosphere for learning and practicing English, then I would like to help. I am from California in the U.S.A. and just recently graduated from college. I greatly enjoy exploring and experiencing new things, which is why I have a great interest and admiration for Japanese culture. I studied abroad in Japan for three months in 2011, studying Japanese history and culture. I am currently a student at Akamonkai Japanese Language School studying the Japanese language.

I also enjoy my own language, English! I would like to share it with you, and I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your specific goals.

I recently graduated from Biola University and have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural Studies, and I am currently studying the Japanese language at Akamonkai Japanese Language School in Nippori. My enjoyment and experience in being a language-learner allows me to relate to other language-learners and sympathize with the difficulties and rewards of studying a foreign language. I’ve studied languages other than my native English from elementary school through my college education, and have experienced relative ease as well as great frustration in the learning process.

My focus at my university was in Linguistics, studying the many components and aspects of language. I have an excellent grasp on the grammar and use of the English language as well as awareness of differences in the way people think about language. My certificate in TESOL (Foundational-90 hours) has also made me aware of methods of teaching and learning English.
