英語を話すためには 英語の勉強を楽しむこと、またその勉強自体を楽しいものにし、毎日の生活に(歯みがきや入浴のように)取り入れることが大切だと私は思っています。

OEC Language Services
English Conversation Teacher, (August 2014-) Lesson and Curriculum Manager-
Current full-time position of manager at a mid-sized English conversation school with 4 branches across Kansai. Duties include teaching 50 minute English conversation classes in various class sizes to adults and children as young as 6 years old at our Akashi branch. Management duties include staff training and performance analysis as well as creating and designing lessons and maintaining curriculums. My teaching evaluation scores have been consistently between 98-100% for the past 2 years and most months I am the number 1 rated out of a teaching staff of around 40. I believe this to be down to my positive, friendly demeanour and effective and accessible teaching skills.
OEC Akashi Kids Teacher
Duties include teaching children from 6-12 years old. Lessons are 50 minutes based on the Gogo Loves English textbook series by Longman/Pearson with extra songs and games to be decided by the teacher. Over the years taking kids classes, I’ve developed the skills necessary to keep children engaged and having fun, which I believe to be by far the most important aspect of being a children’s teacher. I’ve been able to develop skills to keep students active and excited with lots of enthusiasm, joking/physical humour, innovative language games and positive encouragement. These skills have been key to having successful classes at OEC Akashi.

G.E.N- English Conversation Teacher
Part time position of teaching classes of up to 10 in a language school for elder students over the age of 60. As student’s abilities differ greatly, I’ve been able to gain greater skills of classroom control and balance. Also, teaching a lot of elderly students, some being over 80 years old, requires patience and a gentle touch.
