Hello, my name is Calvin. I was born in England and have lived there for 22 years. I moved to Japan just over 3 years ago and have taught myself Japanese during my time here. I can speak Japanese at a conversation level, but I encourage communication in English with my students, so they don’t rely only on Japanese. I am a relaxed and friendly person that is easy to talk to and I can help you with many different areas of English.
Have studied English in England for 11 years. Have 3+ years of English teaching experience. Currently in my 3rd year as a junior high school English teacher. Have taught in elementary school for 1 year previously and other teaching assignments, such as nursery school/teacher training/english bootcamp/speech practice.
