I came to Japan to start a new career in teaching. I have been in customer service for over 20 years and had taught English to two Taiwanese students which I found fun and exciting and decided to begin a transition to a new life. I chose Japan because it was always a country that intrigued me, but as an English teacher it would provide me with a challenge to improve the English of the students here regardless of their age.
Hello, I'm Simon
Thank you for checking my profile. English is very similar to Japanese, to better understand it you need to know the ABC`s and all of the sounds each letter makes. If you are looking to start your English studying, restarting after a long time or want to brush up on grammar and conversational skills, I'm happy to help. As for my experience in teaching I have worked for an eikawa, a high school and currently as an English teacher at a cram school. I teach all 4 skills, so we can discuss this in our first class if you want to improve or work on something in particular. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you with your English.
I use books for beginners, business English along with a conversational book which has many questions for different topics which eventually leads to a free-thinking conversational class. I also use print offs and any online material for each individual student.
