English is the Second Language in Sri Lanka. Before I entered Univesity all my subjects in school were taught in Sinhala (Native Language). At home in Sri Lanka most of the people speak using the native language. However today I'm equally fluent in both the languages (English and Sinhala). I have been reading english books since I was small and every time I finished reading a book I made sure I got another one to read.
I have been in Japan for the past 3 years and teaching English to students around oji kamiya area.
I think the determination is the key factor to learning a new language. All the best !
