We relocated to Japan for my husband’s new job.

I became an ESL/EFL Instructor to help immigrants in the United States and then obtained my M.A. after relocating to Japan, where I taught at various educational institutions.

Classes can be held in a coffee shop near Aobadai Station on the Denentoshi Line and near Tokaichiba Station on the Yokohama Line, or at my home which is located a short bus ride from those two train stations. For drivers, parking is available in front of my house for one car.

Students should schedule classes at least twice/month: 120minutes.

Textbooks and other materials are chosen with the student: Grammar-Review Textbooks, Reading & Discussion Materials, Newspaper Articles, etc.

A 24-hour, advance rescheduling policy is in effect.

For over 30 years, I taught English (full-time)at Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin in Tokyo and taught part-time at Hosei University, Toyo Eiwa University, Tokyo Keizai University, and Waseda University.

I have taught various types of business, grammar, theme-based conversation classes, and participated as a judge at speech contests and student camps.

I also taught Business English classes at Sumitomo 3M, under contract, in the late 1970's.

M.A. (ESL) University of Hawaii; B.A. (Spanish and Psychology: two majors)

I am certified to teach Spanish at the secondary -education level in Penna. U.S.A.
