We relocated to Japan for my husband’s new job. I became an ESL/EFL Instructor to help immigrants in the United States and then obtained my M.A. after relocating to Japan, where I taught at various educational institutions.

Students should schedule classes at least twice/month: 120minutes.

Textbooks and other materials are chosen with the student: Grammar-Review Textbooks, Reading & Discussion Materials, Newspaper Articles, etc.

A 24-hour, advance rescheduling policy is in effect.

I came to Japan after 10 years in the French police (was working for different units as the anti-criminality squad of the subway in Paris or for the International Cooperation Direction (accompanying and protecting VIP from overseas). I came to Japan to share my international experience previously acquired in the police (International Cooperation Direction) and give a chance of improvement of both confidence and conversational skills to my Japanese students.

I became a teacher to break away from the monotony of lab work and pursue something more dynamic and fulfilling. Initially, I came to Japan to explore the country where my father once worked. However, I quickly fell in love with the culture, the people, and the lifestyle, which inspired me to settle here and build a meaningful career in education.

I graduated Bachelor or Arts in Education Major in English, so it has been my dream to be a teacher, and besides, I was molded and trained to be the best. I came to Japan because my previous Japanese employer who was my student before invited me to lead and teach in his English School in Shizuoka City.

We use a variety of resources and learning materials from textbooks to articles and news clippings. But I make sure to always provide the materials to the student, unless they need to purchase a book for the lesson.

19 years ago I came to Japan on a 2 month home stay. I was living in the Nihonbashi area of Tokyo at the time, and fell in love with Kamakura on a trip there one weekend. I decided to come back and live there for a year. I became an Eikaiwa teacher to make this happen. My original plan was to stay a year but it has been almost 15 years now. I enjoy helping students on the road to becoming great English speakers!

That was a long story. I was in California, U.S. taking my highschool classes, but at that time my girlfriend was in China, so the time difference was 15 hours. since i'm a responsible man, i wanted to make some change. so i came to JP since the time difference between JP and China is only 1 hour. but right after i came to JP, my girlfriend cheated on me, so she is my ex now. Since i lived in U.S. for years and most of my friends are American and i'm taking classes in english in Meiji Gakuin University anyway, i think i could teach some english here.
