I studied Japanese culture in America and wanted to experience it first-hand (Zen, Wabi-sabi, Bushido, diet, traditional medicine, Philosophy). Teaching English is my chosen profession. I was a high school English teacher in the USA. I enjoy helping people reach their goals.

I have many years of teaching experience, and have helped hundreds of students reach their goals (communicate in English, travel, study abroad, test scores, business opportunities, job promotions, cultural exchange, etc.).
Most important is for students to relax. I create a relaxing, friendly class and encourage students to speak as much as possible. I have used most textbooks and choose the book suitable for the students' goals and purpose. Some students do not want to use texts, and that is fine, too.
I have taught for over 30 years, in Japan, S. Korea, Europe and the USA. I was a university professor for many years, and have taught all ages and levels. I was a high school English teacher in the USA.
