My marriage brought me to Japan 27 years ago, when I spoken very little Japanese. While I was learning Japanese, I came to see how a language could change a person's life. It's such a wonderful thing that people can communicate without language barrier. Besides, learning a language is so fun.
I've always liked speaking with people. Now I can do this in Japanese, and I hope more and more Japanese people can speak with non Japanese speakers freely in English.
