英会話を勉強する生徒へアドバイス

みなさん、こんにちは！私はなんでも楽しくするのが好きです。子供たちと一緒に働くのは大好きです。なぜなら、彼らは元気いっぱいで、レッスンにも意欲的で、成長するスピードが早く、とても教えがいがあるからです。私はいつも新しいことにトライしようとしています。新しい指導方法など試行錯誤しながら、英語という言語を多角的に捉え、生徒たちに最適な学び場を提供できるよう試みています。

Hello everybody! I like to have fun in everything I do, I love working with children of all ages because of the energy, excitement in the lessons and the high speed of improvement. I'm always open to try new things and new methods of teaching and will always work my hardest to give my students the best opportunity to learn all aspects of the English language.

2007年からずっと日本で子供の英会話に携わってきました。
まず、埼玉県内の色々な幼稚園で出張レッスンを行いました。モーニングレッスンでは、ゲームや歌などを使用した楽しくエネルギッシュなレッスンを行い、アフタヌーンレッスンでは主にテキストブックを使用しました。この出張レッスンでは、たくさんの素晴らしい子供たちや先生方と触れ合う事ができました。また、日本には様々な場所やスタイルの幼稚園があることを知り、私自身も色々なスタイルのレッスン法を学びました。
次に、インターナショナル プリスクールで担任として従事しました。そこでは、小クラス制で8人の男児女児を9時～14時まで教えていました。担任だったので、困難でしたが、とてもやりがいのある仕事で、とても良い経験になりました。今でも、そのスクールで働きたいなぁと思うくらい楽しかったです。その頃、埼玉県の白岡でベリーイングリッシュのスクールを始めました。毎週月曜日と水曜日50人余りの生徒を教えています。 2011年から千葉にある暁星国際学園幼稚園で英語教諭として働きました。

I have been working with children in Japan since 2007.
I started by traveling to many different Kindergartens in the Saitama area teaching fun energetic lessons to each class using games and songs for the morning and then text-based learning for the afternoons. This gave me the chance to meet many great children and teachers. I learned a lot from the variety of places i visited and the different styles of Kindergartens there are in Japan.

I then moved on to working as a homeroom teacher in an international pre-school teaching a small class of 8 boys and girls everyday from 0900-1400. This was both fun and challenging and was a great learning experience for me. I miss that school very much it was so much fun! It was at this time that i established the Berry English Shiraoka school, teaching up to 50 children on Monday and Wednesday afternoons, which is still going strong!

2011年から千葉にある暁星国際幼稚園で副担任の英語教諭をしました。幼児教育におけるプロフェッショナルな先生方と一緒にチームとして働くことができ、色々と吸収することができました。そこでは、幼児教育のノウハウだけではなく、色々なことを企画するチャンスももらえました。バルーンアートや手品ショー、演劇や夏合宿など様々なことに挑戦しました。また、大規模な幼稚園がどのように運営・管理されているのかも知る事ができました。大変な日々でしたが、ここで学んだことは大きく、いつまでも大切な思い出になると思います。そして、2012年。妻となるSachieと共に、ベリーイングリッシュに尽力することに決めました。

In 2011 I started working at Gyosei International School's Kindergarten in Chiba as an English and homeroom teacher which was an amazing experience for me, I was able to work in a team of very professional and talented educators from a variety of backgrounds. I really got the chance to try so many things not only with standard teaching but from organizing and taking part in balloon art, magic shows, performances, summer schools, acting and so much more. This role also taught me many aspects of administration and day-to-day running of a large school. It was hard work but a time i will always cherish.
As of April 2012, Along with my beautiful wife-to-be Sachie, I have decided to put all my effort into Berry English and to make a school that stands out from the rest and really focusses on the children.
