ALT in Nanabayashi Junior High School and in Otaki Junior High School (both in Funabashi)last year.
ALT in Miyamoto Junior High School in Higashi Funabashi from April 2010 to February 2011.
My responsibilities as an ALT include, preparing lesson plans or suggesting possible lesson plans, actual teaching with the Japanese teachers (as a team), making worksheets, visual aids, and even checking test papers. I also helped in recording listening tests and coaching students for their speech program. Other responsibilities are, visiting students' clubs, having lunch with them and cleaning with them. Of course, having a good working relationship with the other teachers is a must.
