As a language teacher, I have experienced the joy of making a difference as my students gain new insights, become more interested in English language and American culture. This in turn helps them to learn about themselves. It also provide me with a window to Japanese culture and language. I want to make tangible difference in their lives. Teaching provides a high level of interpersonal interaction. Being a teacher has a very special meaning for me - I not only take on the role of a language teacher but also a cultural ambassador.
