As a Bachelor in Journalism graduate, I am fully aware of the importance of communication especially in a country like Japan. I used to work in call center for 5 years and I also saw the advantage of knowing english as the universal language in the market. Prior to going here in Japan, I worked as an ESL (English as Second Language) teacher which really inspired me to share what I know not just about English but american culture that I have learned in my 5 years experience of talking to them on the phone. I also believe that learning is a continuous process so I enrolled in a Japanese language school in Shinjuku to enhance my japanese skill. At present, I already have three Japanese students to whom I conduct private english lessons. Being a teacher is not just about teaching the language but it's more of inspiring students to develop their other abilities and I feel challenged in doing so.
