Hello, my name is Kristina and am from the U.S. I've been living in Japan for 7 years now and enjoy my time here. I love running, exploring new places and speaking with people from all over the world. I have been teaching English for ten years. I have spent most of that time in a classroom, but would like to be able to have one on one lessons because more time is given to the student. I also believe conversation in another language is the best way to learn a language and will help one feel confident speaking it. I would love to help you improve your English.
I have been a homeroom English teacher at an International preschool for 6 years. In the mornings, I teach all subjects in English to 5-6 year olds. In the afternoons, I teach conversational English to children ages 5-11. Before my current job, I taught English at a daycare for 9 months. When I was in university, I tutored Japanese college exchange students and also tutored refugees and immigrants, children and adults. Altogether, I have 10 years of English teaching experience.
