学歴・職歴・英語関連資格

I have two years of experience in teaching, both formal and informal. I was a volunteered student teacher in the Philippines for 1 year. Every Friday I had to go to an Elementary school to teach kids ages 7 to 9. I taught them how to pray, how to count 1 to 100 and how to say basic greetings in English. I also had a chance to read them stories in the bible and fairytales.

In addition, I am currently working as an ALT (Assistant Language Teacher) in schools in Kawasaki City. I teach Elementary students. I use flashcards, songs, games and books in conducting my lessons. My job is fulfilling. I am a teacher that helps and motivates my students to do their best in order to learn and succeed with their goals.

Also, I can keep a record of each lesson in order to track my student’s performance. It would be the responsibility of the teacher to teach the student in a healthy, enjoyable, and interesting manner. As a positive and motivated person, it is a full task that I am ready to take.

As for my school background, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. I graduated in the year 2017 at Bicol University College of Arts and Letters. My degree trained me to communicate well in English in order to conduct an effective and beneficial interview that allowed me to interact with people with sensitivity and cheerfully dealing with different attitude.

As for my Japanese skills I am still in the basic. I can now understand and communicate using simple Japanese words, read and write Katakana and Hiragana and started to learn Kanji. In order to further understand and learn the Japanese language and culture, I enrolled myself to a Japanese class which I am attending every Sunday.
