Hi, my name is Kai! I'm from a city called Portland in the US.
I currently live a share house in Tokyo with people from all over the world, and I love the exposure to various cultures and languages.
Some of my hobbies are music and tennis. I love Japanese music, food, and other aspects of the culture here and would love to chat about it with you!
I hope to make learning English a casual and fun experience for everyone. I would love to become a better teacher as well so I'm excited for us to learn together!
I will complete a Bachelor's degree from an American university (remotely from Japan) in June 2021.
I have assisted an instructor at my university with two different computer science courses for over two years (since October 2018). I create grading criteria and give feedback and scores for students' programs and papers.
Outside of work, I live with friends from many different countries and have helped them with their English studies several times.
