What brought me to Japan:
I’ve always loved Japan’s unique culture and language. That passion brought me here in 2025 to improve my Japanese, and I plan to transfer to a university in Japan in 2026.
Why I became an English teacher:
I enjoy connecting with students from around the world. With 7 years of teaching experience, I’ve learned so much from my students’ cultures and perspectives. What I love most is helping learners feel confident and seeing their progress—it’s the most rewarding part of my job.
Hi, I’m Teacher Daram(Yoona)! I was born in Thailand and lived there for 11 years. I majored in Management Information Systems at the U.S. university, and I’ve been teaching English in Korea for the past seven years. I truly enjoy learning and teaching languages—I achieved a perfect score of 990 on the TOEIC and hold the JLPT N1 certificate, and I’ve also worked as an English–Korean translator.
In my classes, you’ll focus on practical conversation skills in a relaxed and encouraging environment. My goal is to help you feel confident and comfortable speaking a foreign language, while making steady progress step by step.
