I have been in Asia for almost ten years now. My first experience was teaching in China for two years. After China I traveled around Asia for a while then took a position in Chiba Japan. Having worked there for just one year I headed back to the USA where I visited my family and then was hired for another job in Iwaki Japan where I spent two years teaching. After the completion of my contract I did some more traveling and was hired to teach reading and phonics in Singapore. I stayed in Singapore for four years. The contract was finished and I came back to Japan and I am currently in Tochigi. I have been very fortunate in having worked in many different schools where I was able to teach a wide range of students from Kindergarten to adult.
