英語で着席する「面接の受け答え」

面接で使われる英語について学びましょう。面接官と会話をするときに、気をつけなければならないことがあります。それは、言葉選びです。

Applicant: Thank you.

Tell me about yourself.

Applicant: I’d like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to have this interview.

My name is Hayato Tani.

I’ve been working for ABC Co.

Interviewer: Why do you want this job?

Applicant: I saw your ad for an English-speaking sales person.

I’m very interested in that job.

Interviewer: What are your qualifications?

Applicant: I have a bachelor’s degree from AZ University.

Interviewer: What was your major there?

Applicant: Business administration.

applicant：「志願者」「応募者」

take a seat：「着席する」

Co.：companyの省略形

I’d like to～：「～したいと思います。」と丁寧に言うときに使う。

opportunity：「機会」

ad：advertisement「広告」

sales person：「営業マン」

be interested in～：「～に興味がある」

qualification：「資格」

bachelor’s degree：「学士号」

business administration：「経営学」
