Through my educational and working background, I have worked in many challenging teaching capacities, gaining many transferable skills and great self-reward from these positions. I have learnt the paramount importance of creating a stimulating environment in order to focus a student’s motivation and willingness to learn. Delivering enjoyable and memorable lessons that sustain focus and aid the progression of understanding the material that is being taught. I believe it to be essential to be both patient and understanding. Building a friendship that is based on trust and support, in order to guide and teach pupils through their learning.
Through my teaching position, I have began to further understand the importance of planning and setting small targets in order to achieve greater results and knowledge of learning, over a longer sustained period. Also, discovering the importance of target language and control of listening when teaching a foreign language.
With a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and a passion for learning and developing, educated to degree level. I act as positive team player with a drive to succeed and to assist others, having excellent communication and motivational skills, which is supported by an engaging personality. Being passionate in both sport and teaching. I would describe myself as a dedicated and ambitious person who strives for success and endeavors to reach and achieve any goal or objective.
