I'm a native Californian who grew up with a strong interest in Japan and its culture. Ever since watching my first Japanese movie, I've been fascinated by Japan, and I hoped that I would be able to visit the country one day.

I feel very fortunate that my dream came true, and I am grateful for this opportunity every day.

Since moving to Japan in March 2011, I have discovered a true passion for English teaching! I've been pleasantly surprised to find my students are so interested in learning my language. Their passion motivates me! I sincerely hope to continue teaching in Japan as a career.
