In my classes I put extra attention to proper pronunciation and understanding of English phonics. My classes are based on casual conversation on various subjects, but I also encourage students to use my materials and books. My students always tell me that I am easy to understand, so even student with only basic abilities will find my classes not only easy and relaxing, but also very productive. I encourage student to ask questions, share their opinions, and for beginners to try to make simple sentences. My class is based not on a teacher monologue, but definitely on a dialogue with a student.
What is more I offer my students friendly, seamless and calm personality as well as optimistic spirit and never ending patience.
I have a masters degree in Japanese linguistics, have lived in Japan for more than 4 years now. My Japanese abilities are on JLPT N1 level.
I have 5 years + of experience working as a Japanese - English translator for Japanese companies in Japan, Belgium, Slovakia and Poland. Since 2014 I have been teaching English in Japan in an English Conversation School in Tokyo. My students range from infants to seniors, from kindergarten to high school students, mommies, collage students and businessmen. Also range of my classes is wide, from casual conversation to business English, help with presentations, exams, proficiency tests. Before coming to Japan I have been teaching English on a Vietnamese University in Ho Chi Minh city, so I have a big understanding for Asian students and their difficulties in speaking in English.
