Born and raised in Hawaii, I spent much of my childhood years traveling to Japan to visit my grandma in Tokyo where I was also enrolled in the Japanese public school system. I moved to California for middle and high school and after graduating I moved to the beautiful city of San Francisco to attend San Francisco State University where I received my Bachelors Degree in Business. Now I am back in Tokyo and eager to help students like you become fluent english speakers, and reach your full potential.

This past spring I graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s in business. My emphasis was in Hospitality Tourism and Management & I also earned a minor in Business Administration. During my time in San Francisco, I worked downtown at a hotel for 2 years; assisting travelers from all over the world, many whom spoke little or no english. My interest in becoming a tutor sparked from teaching english to many of my Japanese friends, relatives, as well as Japanese tourists. When I was younger I travelled back and forth from America to Japan every summer in order to enroll in the public Japanese school system which indicates my familiarity with the culture, language, people, and work ethic of Japanese people.
