Hello!
My name is Brian. I am originally from Scotland in the U.K. and moved to Japan with my family in 2007. I have 13 years teaching experience in kindergarten, elementary and junior high schools as well as conversational evening classes with adults.
I have a passion for creating music, writing songs and playing the guitar. I have a YouTube channel in which I upload my music with video content that I have created. I’m an avid reader and like a variety of sports including football (soccer), badminton and snowboarding.
My favourite subjects from elementary school to higher education and college have been English, art, design and illustration orientated.

WORK BENEFITS: The majority of my work experience in my home country has involved customer service. As a result I have developed good communication skills not only in dealing with the public, but also as working as part of a team.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: One of the most rewarding aspects in having ran my own business has been the flexibility which has allowed me to strongly participate in the first few years of my children’s upbringing. What I lack in qualifications I make up with experience. I have a sound understanding of the English language and a willingness to learn and a genuine desire to succeed.
