I came to Japan because I have mixed roots. Middle Eastern and Japanese.
I was born and raised abroad, yet I always wondered about my other Japanese half. I came to study the culture. I live here now for over 20 years.
Learning never stop at a certain age. There might be so many obstacles to continue but there is always a chance to start again. Never give up on your dream and I will do my best to lead you until you reach your goal.
It depends on the age, goal and timeline.
Every student motivation is different. I taught for more than 7 years in Tokyo. Some focused on Toeic, Eiken (in case of kids) others on conversational skills for traveling abroad and interacting with foreigner in Japan. Also there is Business orienting textbooks for businessmen.
