All my students seem to enjoy my lessons. These students have been with me for over five years. We use a various materials and video on a laptop computer. I try to give my students an all-around experience in learning English.
Experience teaching English
1998 ~ 2010: Yomiuri Bunka Center (読売文化センター)
Employed to help students develop and increase their English language skills. Used
various text materials and also designed and created new lessons to help students with
various everyday expressions in business and travel situations. Have conducted many
classes at various centers in and around Tokyo. Contract taken over from HERI
(Hironaka Educational Research Institute) see below:
1988 ~ 1998: HERI (Hironaka Educational Research Institute) （弘中教育研究所）
Conducted classes in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba and Saitama, Japan. In conjunction with one of Japan's largest Culture Centers--classes in various languages at twenty one different locations.
2002 ~ to present: (2+ hours a week) Private group lesson using popular American Motion Pictures (DVDs / laptop computer) with English language shooting scripts given
to students. Three retired persons who have high levels of English. Lots of free conversation about the culture and customs in the various films; westerns, comedy, romance, war and crime. Vocabulary, idioms and slang in each film is quite different. Have reviewed early movies from 1940s to present day.
1978 ~ 1998 T. Hasegawa Flavor & Fragrance K.K. (長谷川香料株式会社)
? Developing curriculums, selecting and creating text materials for managers and other employees who were selected for the company's classes. Used Texts, audio and video presentations.
? Preparing students for overseas business trips and working in the company's
overseas offices. These lessons were at the company's main office and their
laboratory.
1978 ~ 2003 J.P. Kami Pulp (日本紙パルプ商事株式会社)
? Teaching Daily, Business and Telephone English conversation patterns to managers and staff. Used Texts, audio and video presentations.
? Preparing Managers for overseas business trips and also working in the company's overseas offices. These lessons were at the company's main office.
