I came to Japan because I am half Japanese and wanted to strengthen my connection with my family, culture, and identity. Growing up between countries has given me a unique perspective, and it made me realize how powerful language can be in helping people understand the world more deeply. I want to become an English teacher because I enjoy connecting with others and helping them expand their viewpoints through language. My educational background is built on an international curriculum that emphasizes critical reading, academic writing, and analytical thinking. I frequently use English-language textbooks, IELTS and SAT preparation materials, and school-issued literacy texts, which have strengthened my ability to understand complex passages and explain grammar or test strategies clearly. At the same time, I believe that English becomes much more meaningful when connected to real life. Beyond formal materials, I enjoy incorporating culture, music, films, and students’ personal hobbies into lessons to create real connections and genuine engagement. By blending structured academic resources with relatable, everyday content, I aim to help students build confidence, enjoy the learning process, and feel supported both academically and personally.

I have no formal employment experience, but I have gained practical teaching experience by helping classmates study for IELTS, SAT, and school English exams. Through attending an international dual-diploma program taught in English, I have developed strong communication skills and an understanding of how to guide others through difficult concepts.
