I love communicating with people and I have had the experience of teaching in the U.S., so I thought it would be a great opportunity to be able to communicate with people of a different ethnic culture in an environment that was completely opposite of my own. Language seem to be the best place to start in sharing my own culture with people that differ from mine. And since Japanese are keen on learning English , I felt becoming an English teacher would be suitable for me.

I use a variety of texts - some from books and others from the internet, however if students prefer a particular text than I can accommodate them.

Education shouldn't be about transferring knowledge from textbooks to mind. It should be a journey filled with discovery, curiosity and joy when it comes to learning a foreign culture/language. And so it should be a space where tasks are engaging and enjoyable to foster a lifelong love for learning. And be integrating fun and enjoyment into the learning process students should be more interested in learning and therefor exceed in learning about different cultures that have been developed over the past centuries.

I originally came to Japan for snowboarding but i have always had a passion for teaching, and so what better way to start a teaching career than by teaching my native language to people that would greatly benefit from my language as they'll be able to communicate with other around the world.
