Hello.

My name is William. I am from Canada and came to Japan about 13 years ago. I studied music at university in Canada and love to sing and play the piano in my free time. I also really like doing other creative things like making pottery. It’s fascinating!

In my private lessons, I try to create an environment where students can be comfortable and relaxed while improving their communication skills. Don't worry about making mistakes. My job is to help you fix your errors and become a better speaker.

I have been teaching English for 13 years. In the past I've worked in various types of environments, including kindergartens, companies and conversation schools but most of my experience was gained through my position as an English Instructor at Waseda University.

At Waseda, I teach a variety of courses, including general conversation, writing, business and discussion. I started in 2002.
