I was granted MEXT scholarship and attended Tsukuba University in 2014~2016. From that time, I always wanted to experience working and living in Japan. Long story short, I got an offer from a public school where I currently work at.

My major was the initial reason why I came to Japan. However, I started finding myself more reasons to stay in Japan and pursue a career in becoming an English teacher. I started it as a part-time job and I feel like it is now a passion of mine to influence the younger generation of Japan to connect globally by first building their English skills and then assisting them in whatever they need in order to build these skills.

Policy 1: Inclusive Cultural Exchange Framework

This policy promotes a rich and inclusive cultural exchange within the English language learning environment, fostering a deep understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives.

We implement this through cultural integration sessions, where we integrate regular cultural exchange sessions into the curriculum, where students are encouraged to share aspects of their own culture, traditions, and experiences.
Next is Cultural Awareness Assignments, where we assign projects and assignments that require students to research and present various aspects of a chosen culture. Emphasis will be placed on language accuracy and fluency in presenting the information.

Finally is Multicultural Collaboration, where we encourage students to collaborate on projects with peers from different cultural backgrounds. This collaboration will extend beyond traditional classroom settings, fostering friendships and an appreciation for diverse perspectives.

Policy 2: Conversation-Based Language Learning

Objective:
To enhance English language proficiency through immersive conversation-based learning, emphasizing practical communication skills in real-world scenarios.

We implement this by prioritizing interactive and discussion-oriented classroom activities over traditional lecture-based teaching methods. We create an environment that encourages spontaneous and natural conversation among students.

Next is Real-World Simulation Exercises: Design simulation exercises that replicate real-life scenarios, such as job interviews, travel situations, or business meetings. This approach will provide students with practical language skills applicable to various contexts.

Finally is the Peer-to-Peer Language Exchange Program, where we facilitate a program where students can pair up with peers looking to practice English. This exchange will encourage mutual learning, providing students with opportunities to teach and learn from each other.

By implementing these policies, the English language class will focus on linguistic development and provide a platform for students to appreciate and learn from each other's cultures, fostering a more comprehensive and enriching educational experience.

I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture. I love the food, the people, the history, and the language. When I had the opportunity to move to Japan to study for my International Relations degree, I jumped at the chance. I have been studying in Japan for the past four months, and I have loved every minute of it. I have broadened my view of Japanese culture, and I have learned so much about the country and its people. Also had the opportunity to practice my Japanese language skills, which has been a great challenge and a lot of fun. I want to become an English teacher because I want to help people communicate with each other. I believe that English is a powerful tool that can be used to break down barriers and build bridges between many cultures. I also believe that everyone deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background. I am passionate about helping my students reach their full potential, and I am committed to providing them with the tools they need to succeed. I first visited Japan as a young child, and I was immediately captivated by the country. I loved the way the people were so friendly and welcoming, and the rich culture and history were fascinating. I knew that I would come back someday, and I knew that I wanted to pursue higher education in the country. I also wanted to teach English to the Japanese people, as I believe that it is an important skill for them to have in today's globalized world. The educational policy I will follow is the "Every Student Succeeds Act" The act was passed in 2015 as a replacement for the No Child Left Behind Act. The goal of the Every Student Succeeds Act is to give states more flexibility in how they implement educational reforms. The act also places a greater emphasis on school choice and accountability for student outcomes.

My interest in Japan, coupled with the influence of some friends, brought me to this country.

I am comfortable using any textbook that may be required for teaching English. For children, I have previously used Super Kids, Let's Go, Everybody Up, and other age-appropriate materials. When teaching adults, I have utilized textbooks such as Interchange, Side By Side, TOEIC materials, and various other resources that I have utilized in the past.

I came to Japan to learn Japanese and study at University to attain a major in international relations. I want to become an English teacher because I want to help others improve their english in a comfortable setting.

I plan on doing my best to teach English.

Japan was always my dream country because of its unique culture. And I have always love teaching new things to others and when I discovered my talent in English I decided to be a teacher.

I am in Japan because I have dual citizenship and took the opportunity to stay here with my mom and sister. My mother is an english teacher as well, teaching students from all over the world so I have been able to watch and learn what she does. She has inspired me to do the same in Japan.

Specialize in maximizing a person's english skill through conversation. Grammar, pronunciation, and sentence structures will be taught to make the speaking of English feel natural.

I like children and I enjoy to teach them
I am good at math and can think things logically.

When I was teaching ESL and IELTS to foreign students in the Philippines, I met some awesome Japanese students who became my friends. They told me a lot about the Japese culture, the food, tourist destinations etc., I became very interested and decided to apply for an Assistant Language Teaching position to see and experience what this amazing country has to offer.

I came to Japan in the year 2016 as a MEXT scholarship student, to study a Master in Music Composition as I was very interested in the Japanese composer Toru Takemitsu (徹武満). While in Japan I have done many side jobs, including teaching English and Spanish, and I find it really fun and fulfilling, that's why I have joined ESPA. 2016年に文部科学省の国費留学生として来日し、昨年、東京藝術大学の修士号(作曲課程)を取得し卒業しました。大学在学中より、スペイン語と英語のレッスンを行っております。生徒さんのスキルが上達していき、楽しそうに勉強している姿を見ると自分まで嬉しくなります。日本ではスペイン語はまだまだマイナーな言語ですが、レッスンを通じて南米文化などもできたらなと思います。

In my classes I usually use whatever book the student is already using, and is familiarized with. Otherwise we find something that will meet the student's needs and level.
In the lessons I always create a worksheet as homework for the student to do for the next lesson. Depending on the level of the student I also provide some audio exercises accompanied with a series of questions.
In general my lessons are adapted to the student's necessity.

I tend to follow the learn by doing approach to language acquisition. Giving students a chance to use what they have learned or been taught is important in adding it to their base of language knowledge and usage skills. I tend to prefer the commercially available textbooks that are sold in bookstores or online.
