Japan has always been a dream destination for me. I was in medical school pursuing my dream to be a doctor but I got exhausted and want to take a break from studying so I came to Japan to visit my mom who was working at the U.S Embassy back then. After touring Japan for 3months I decided to work as a fitness instructor for kids in English. I didn’t know that it is my passion and I became so motivated to teach English to people not only to kids but to career oriented people as well.

Make mistakes when learning a language, that's one of the ways you learn. Learning any language takes time and practice as well, so repeat everything you learn and don't stop.

I use customized lessons and make my own materials. I usually make them in advance and the topic depends on the student's preferences. Textbooks may also vary．It depends on what the student wants to learn.

I have over 20 years of teaching experience both online and face to face.
I have taught small kids to adults.
I have 13 years of experience in GABA Eikaiwa where i taught kids to adults. I taught them casual and business English.
I have taught corporate lessons man to man and group lessons, both online and face to face as well.

Work is mainly the reason but my hobbies and interest are also parts of the reason why I came to Japan. I was highly influence by Japanese Pop-culture when I was young and continued to be interested in Japanese culture as I grew up. I first started as an English tutor in the Philippines. I taught English to Korean and Japanese students who visited my school It was a really great experience so I decided to take up another Major in college. I graduated as an English Major and passed the Licensure Ezam for Teachers in 2009.

I Came to Japan because I need to learn another language and I wanted to experience a new culture and gain new experience. English teaching is more familiar to me, because I am doing that as a hobby. I love to teach students and when they are in to their best level I am having a good feeling about me. I thnik it is a blessing.

I always believe and learn language in a fun way. So, my classroom is always interactive and full and spontaneous participation from all students. I may use simple conversational language to start with the students. Then gradually I will start to use grammatical based lessons

Japan is a rich tech oriented country. Also, Its culture, heritage are all unique. Peoples are so helpful, honest. So, I love Japanese environment very much. I saw Japanese new generation are trying to improve their English skills to make their own world more expanded. I feel to help them. Because I learn English basic in my childhood

I believe that using only one language in the classroom should be the best way to improve one's English level. The "trial by fire" type of approach is very efficient; however, the teacher must be very playful when approaching teaching like this since learning a new language is challenging and the students can become uncomfortable without being able to speak their native language. Each level should be approach appropriately, this means that vocabulary and grammar should be basic for lower levels, and more challenging as they progress.

I believe making mistakes is important and should not be met with strictness; at first, students should be allowed to make mistakes and not be corrected very much, but as their proficiency increases, addressing those mistakes becomes more common.

I use many types of texts, from basic to advanced.

I have worked as a tutor and as an English teacher at an English School in Luanda, Angola. At the moment, I have two online students and provide English tutoring sessions to fellow classmates.

I came to Japan as a master's student. I am currently in my first year but I have already completed many of my credits and have free time to partake in a part time job. My connection with the English language and didatics are one of the main reasons I started teaching English as a foreign language. Additionally, I enjoy being able to help people acquire a new language and see them progress slowly until they are able to speak proficiently.
