Procedures for discontinuing lessons and managing your account.

Procedure for Teacher's Registration Cancellation

If you are unable to continue your lessons due to returning to your home country, moving, new job, or other reasons, please comply with the procedures below.

  • Please notify your student(s) that you are unable to continue the lessons, stating the reason for discontinuance.
  • Please request your students to find new teachers from the Dot-Com Business Tutor home page.

Your registration will be cancelled from our database after you have notified the student. However, it may take three to four weeks to delete the information from search engines like Yahoo and Google.

  • The teachers' registration will not be cancelled if the teachers have existing students. Please ensure a smooth handover.

Resolving Issues with Students

If you encounter issues such as a student wishing to continue lessons privately after cancellation, or receiving bothersome calls/messages, please clarify your expectations with the student first. Most issues can be resolved with clear communication.

If problems persist after clarification, please contact Dot-Com Business Tutor with the following information:

  • Teacher's Registration Number & Name
  • Student's Name
  • Details of the issue
  • Please attach any relevant emails or messages from the student.

Notifying Existing Students of Your Departure

If you are discontinuing lessons, please notify the student, state your reason, and assure them that Dot-Com Business Tutor will find a new teacher for them.

  • Contact Dot-Com Business Tutor with your registration number, name, the student's name, and details of the situation.

    • We will make all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth transition for the student. If any issues require legal action, we will consult lawyers and take necessary actions.

    Immediate Registration Cancellation by Dot-Com Business Tutor

    Dot-Com Business Tutor will immediately cancel a teacher's registration under the following circumstances. If registration is cancelled by Dot-Com Business Tutor, re-registration is not accepted.

    • The phone number provided during registration is not in use.
    • We are unable to send mail due to an error in the provided email address.
    • No response to our queries after introducing a trial lesson.
    • Not showing up for a trial lesson without informing the student.
    • Entering into any private dealings with students, such as:
      • Negotiating the lesson rate.
      • Requesting conveyance allowance within your designated teaching area.
      • Requesting payment for drinks, etc.
    • Persuading students to enter into private dealings on the side.
    • The number of registered students drops at a tremendously high rate.
    • The teacher causes any kind of damage to the students or Dot-Com Business Tutor.
    • Any suspicious or unprofessional attitude is detected by Dot-Com Business Tutor.
