Position TypeInstructor/Teacher/Professor
Position DescriptionInstructed all ages and skill levels in Snowboarding, Assisted in the running of ski lifts and line management when crowded. Snowboard instruction, while moderately different from language instruction, is done with a much more `Teach By Example` style. Often with younger children, the concepts involved with weight shifting and angling are too complex, so often demonstration is the most effective means. With adults it can become much more detail oriented requiring the ability to clearly explain the small movements and muscle coordination required. Then depending on the level a typical class can range from learning how to turn, to instruction on Tricks and Jumps.
