To make my dreams come true

I grew up in Australia for the first 10 years if my life and now I have been in Japan for 10 years. I have graduated junior high school and high school in Japan.

I want to use my english skills that I attained in Australia and I want to teach Japanese people english since I believe that Japan needs to improve in their English compared to many other asian countries and I would like to support that by teaching

Focus will be on fluency and pronunciation aspects of English. Students will learn how to use english quickly from day 1.Text used, in addition to the three books I co wrote for beginner, Intermediate and advanced level, would be "Really learn 100 phrasal verbs and 100 phrasal verbs for Business.

After many years working in the corporate field, I decided to leave to pursue something which I desire...music.I Came to Japan to pursue a music career and start a small business. I taught english on the side to augment my income and soon discover that was an opportunity for me to meet people and make friends. Ive some students that has been with me for over 7 years and one of them actually plays in my band now.

My teaching style is to have active conversations; we can discuss any topic of our choice and have fun while learning, but lessons with me focus on whatever you want to focus on!

I came to Japan because I believed Living and working in Japan would allow me to acquire valuable skills and knowledge for my career, which has also granted me an exciting cultural experience and lifestyle, including learning the beautiful language. Furthermore, I believe teaching English in Japan can be one of the most rewarding experiences; in doing so, I have learned more about Japanese culture, the work environment, my students, and myself. Teaching is a fantastic chance to change lives for the better. Helping young students learn English opens doors to new opportunities for them. And helping adult learners enables them to communicate with English-speaking relatives and become more competitive in the global economy.

I am currently a sophomore at The University of Tokyo (東京大学). The opportunities this university presented were my main reasons to choose to come to Japan. I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Environmental Science. In parallel, I am conducting research in laser physics and biotechnology. I love teaching. Apart from English, I am also a Math and Science tutor. Tutoring gives me the satisfaction that very few activities do. So why not utilize my free time to do something I enjoy and that's helpful to others.

The best place to ignite the fires of learning is where people don't normally speak English - Japan is a country where English is taught in school but not practiced too much. I'm here to allow students to practice and gain confidence. First with me, then with the world.

My family started business here so I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
