サトシが海外旅行先で買い物をしようとしています。さっそくその会話を覗いてみましょう。

Satoshi: No, thank you.
I’m just looking.
He looks around that shop.
He goes out of that shop.
He enters another shop.
Salesclerk: Can I help you?
Satoshi: Yes, I’m looking for some souvenirs.
Salesclerk: What kind of goods do you need?
Satoshi: I want to get some T-shirts.
Salesclerk: Those are over there.
Satoshi: Thanks.
He chooses several T-shirts and takes them to the salesclerk.
Satoshi: How much will they be?
Salesclerk: They are 300 dollars.
Satoshi: Please give me a big discount.
Salesclerk: How about 250 dollars?
Satoshi: I’ll take these goods, too.
(He takes another goods from the display rack.)
So can you make them 300 dollars in total?
Salesclerk: Let me see.
All right.
Do you want me to wrap them up as a gift?
Satoshi: Yes, please.
This is a good shop.
So I’ll come here again with my family.
Salesclerk: It’s kind of you to say so.

wrap A up：「Aを包む」upは無くても良い。
let me see：思案などを示して「ええと」「う～ん」の意味を表す。
want＋人称代名詞＋to＋動詞：「人に～して欲しい」
as a gift：「贈り物として」asには「～として」という意味がある。
with～：「～と一緒に」
It’s＋＜形容詞＞＋of＋人称代名詞＋to～：「（人）が～することは＜形容詞＞だ」となる。形容詞や人称代名詞、to以降を変えることで内容を変化させることができる。
